Dairy Australia is seeking an IT Project Manager to join the Project Management Office. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, delivery and evaluation of key projects across Dairy Australia. Responsibilities of the role include overseeing and managing project resources and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Projects will be managed according to strategic, quality and budget objectives and delivered in alignment with the cultural values of the Dairy Australia.

The successful applicant will be extremely self-driven with the ability to engage across all levels of the organisation and within the dairy industry. This role is a full time, permanent position.

The key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Manage the day-day activities of a distributed project team and undertake multiple project activities
• Support with achieving project results – time, quality, cost – along with the project business lead
• Work with the project business lead and key stakeholders to complete project artefacts (i.e. project charters and plans), outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
• Ensure that project objectives are delivered within the agreed time, scope and budget constraints
• Identify risks, resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle
• Effectively manage the project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved through the project change request process
• Manage the project budget and ensure that project milestones are being met to meet budget requirements
• Manage stakeholder involvement in the project through the creation of productive partnerships and strong communication
• Determine and ensure results measurement according to the evaluation framework requirements, and complete with project lead, post-project evaluation to determine how results were achieved
• Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
• Foster a team culture where all members consider interdependences.
