Disconnected Student Data
No one has a complete overview of student data as it resides in multiple admissions, learning and finance systems. Time is wasted searching for information, and students repeat information provided.
Seamlessly integrate student, staff and stakeholder information on a single platform using Microsoft. DHRP adopts and adapts the Dynamics 365 Education Accelerator for universities, colleges and schools throughout ANZ.

There is no common, comprehensive system of student information or learning platforms for Australian and New Zealand institutions. The Dynamics 365 Education Accelerator consolidates that data in Microsoft Dataverse, providing you with a unified view of every student, from initial enquiry to graduation.
The accelerator consists of Microsoft's education model and sample applications, both for higher ed and K-12 (primary and secondary) scenarios. Not something you can just take and use, so how much value it has will depend on how you configure it. It is designed by a Microsoft partner to suit your institution, localised for ANZ, and integrated with your systems, such as Microsoft 365, Teams and School Data Sync. It's a simple method of implementing connected, higher education student lifecycle management software on a platform that you might already have.
Dynamics 365 Solutions
All institutions in the Australian and New Zealand region face the same challenges: increasing expectations from students, declining budgets and increased compliance requirements. With data and processes spread across disconnected systems, managing those pressures becomes more challenging.
Here are the challenges we've seen most frequently and the challenges that the Dynamics 365 Education Accelerator can help you resolve:
No one has a complete overview of student data as it resides in multiple admissions, learning and finance systems. Time is wasted searching for information, and students repeat information provided.
Data is slow to be entered into paper forms, and there is a risk of rekeying errors in data entry. Offers and enrolments are delayed by paper forms and by rekeying data into spreadsheets. Each manual process introduces delays and potential for mistakes, leading to applicant dissatisfaction and extending admissions staff time during busy periods.
Reaching prospects and students at the right time is a challenge with email chains and one-off tools. Messages are lost, and teams don't have everyone's picture in their minds of all the conversations they've had.
Leaders do not receive live application and retention data but wait for end-of-period reports. It can be difficult to act on trends or hit recruitment goals when you don't have current insight.
Advisers tend not to detect individuals behind schedule until it's too late. If there are no early signs and no history of the student, support is considered “reactive”, and student retention and satisfaction levels are impacted.
Each of your LMS, student information system and Microsoft 365 products contains valuable data. If they are not connected, engagement, learning and support data remain siloed.
Disconnected data is the most expensive in admissions. With Education Accelerator, applicant and student records live in one managed location, preventing teams from re-entering the same information in multiple systems.

Built around the student journey, the accelerator is rich with features that make it easy to go from reacting to problems to seeing them early.
With the data model aligned to Microsoft School Data Sync, Class Roster and Student Data can link to Microsoft 365 and Teams for a comprehensive view.
Fit is the key to successful projects. Each system, funding structure and compliance requirement is unique to each institution, and we tailor our design to yours.

Get in touchThe Dynamics 365 Education Accelerator is a set of sample applications and Microsoft's education data model, all on Microsoft Dataverse. It integrates student, staff and stakeholder information into one central location, facilitates communication between teams and provides leaders with real-time information. It is not an ERP system by itself, and a partner like DHRP sets up your ERP around your institution's processes and systems.
There are two parts to the accelerator: an education data model and sample applications. For both higher education (tertiary) and K-12 (primary and secondary) scenarios. These include learner success pathways, tele-advising, parent and student portals as well as donor engagement. DHRP customises these to fit your requirements and aligns them to Microsoft 365, Teams and School Data Sync.
Microsoft makes the accelerator available to download for free from GitHub as open source. It requires a Power Apps licence to install, and some advanced features or Dynamics 365 modules might require additional licences. Discounts are also available for Education customers. Need a customised licensing quote for your users and needs? Contact DHRP for a quote.
Microsoft provides the accelerator in American English in standard units; however, it can be completely customised. DHRP translocates and aligns the language, user interface and workflow of Australian/New Zealand institutions. That includes local terms for enrolment, courses, student records and more, so your staff and students can work with language they know from the start.
No, the accelerator is a cloud-only solution, on Dataverse and the Microsoft Power Platform. That translates to no servers to maintain, and updates and security are handled by Microsoft's cloud. DHRP can assist you in planning the move, from data migration to integrating into existing systems, to training your teams.
